Chris Muzerall is a long time Mt. Washington Valley resident. The son of a prominent Jackson artist, Myke Morton he was immersed in art from an early age.  With much encouragement and some formal training from artists such as his mother and other MWV artists like David Baker and Ernie Brown, he went on to find his own technique

An avid outdoorsman, his work is strongly influenced by nature and it’s abstract patterns. He works in many diverse mediums as each has it’s own appeal, but believes the thought process to be the same. His work is strongly inspired by Sargent, Homer and countless others, in many styles, not just realism as he is looking to create art in a classic style with contemporary colors.
