What is a painting session like at Jackson Art ?
In a relaxed, social group setting, our instructor will guide you step-by-step through that session’s featured painting. Whether you are an aspiring Van Gogh or just looking to explore your creative side, at the end of the session you will be amazed at the artwork you have created.
Do I need to sign up in advance?
Because of limited seating, signing up in advance is required. Click on the calendar for online registration or feel free to give us a call to reserve your spot. (603) 387-3463
If I come with a friend or group of friends, can we all sit together?
We try our best to seat friends and parties together. Please be sure to let us know when making your reservation and we’ll make the appropriate seating arrangements.
What is the cost of a paint session at Jackson Art Sip & Paint?
Most sessions are $45 all inclusive but paintings requiring tracings and specialty paintings have an extra fee.
What is included in the price?
We provide everything you’ll need including a 16′ x20′ pre-stretched canvas, paint, brushes, easels, and apron.
Can children attend classes?
Yes, children 7 and up are invited to come to any Sip & Paint class accompanied by a paying adult unless otherwise advertised. For daytime classes, kids 12 and up can be dropped off. Consumption of alcohol by anyone under 21 will not be allowed.
What time do I need to arrive for a session?
Evening session arrival is at 5:45 pm and painting begins promptly at 6:00 pm. Afternoon arrival is at 12:45 pm and painting begins promptly at 1:00 pm. The extra 15 minutes gives you time to get settled, find a seat, get your paint and/or a drink and relax a little before the painting begins. Each session lasts approximately 2-3 hours.
Do you provide alcohol?
Jackson Art is BYOB. Due to New Hampshire State law we are not permitted to sell alcohol.
Can I bring in my own alcohol?
Absolutely! Jackson Art is BYOB. Bring in beer, wine or champagne of your choice. (no hard alcohol, please!) You must be 21+ to drink and you must drink responsibly.We will supply bottle openers and cups. You can also bring non-alcoholic drinks. We have tea, coffee & hot chocolate for sale at the studio for $1.
What should I wear?
We provide aprons, but recommend wearing something you wouldn’t mind getting paint on just in case!
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are required as space is limited and we have to set up in advance. You can register and pay online by going directly to the Registration/Calendar and picking the painting of your choice.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you to give us 48 hours notice if you need to cancel and will be happy to give you a credit to another class. Cancellations should be made by phone by calling (603) 387-3463. This provides us the opportunity to fill the space. We are sorry, but we cannot give refunds or issue credits for ‘no shows’..
How is Jackson Art different from other paint and sip studios that I’ve heard about?
We are not a franchise. We are a local, independent owned business. All of our paintings are original and created by us. Our instructors have painting and teaching experience and are professional artists. We enjoy making art less intimidating and more accessible to the average person. We teach our painters how to blend and mix color, show perspective and shadow, brush techniques, and other ways to enhance their painting experience.
Can we host a private party at Jackson Art?
Yes! We can host a birthday party, corporate events, baby and wedding showers, or a girls night out! The minimum number of seats required for a private party is 10 people. The cost is $45 per/person and you can pick any image you would like. We can travel to you for an extra fee of $10 per/person.
