Phyllis Tracy

Phyllis Tracy is a New Hampshire based painter whose work transports the viewers into serene landscapes and moments of joyful discovery.  With a background in Art Education and Fine Art Painting from Massachusetts College of Art, Phyllis has dedicated her career to creative pursuits- from teaching and mural painting to interior design and fine art.

My art is an invitation to pause and appreciate the quiet wonders of the natural world and the spontaneous joy of childhood.  She has spent her life exploring the interplay of color, light, and emotion—whether hiking the Rockies and the Mt Washington Valley,  developing her own interior design business to help others find beauty in their homes.

She works primarily in oils and watercolors, using confident, lively brushstrokes to infuse each piece with energy and reflection. My landscapes and wildlife scenes are inspired by the wilderness of New England  and the Rockies and reflect my deep respect for its untamed beauty. I strive to capture not just what I see, but what I feel: the hush of snowy woods, the majesty of a moose at dawn, or the fleeting delight of a child discovering a puddle.

Through my paintings, I hope to transport viewers into moments of serenity and wonder, encouraging a sense of gratitude for nature’s gifts and the simple pleasures of play. Each scene tells a story—sometimes quiet, sometimes exuberant, always rooted in a deep appreciation for life’s small miracles.
