Students will work from life and the class size will be limited to only six students to allow for lots of individual attention. Class is open to adults and high school aged students interested in improving their drawing skills.

Participants will receive a drawing kit from the instructor that will cover all the supplies and can be taken home. This includes a couple of pads of quality heavyweight drawing paper, a set of artist quality graphite and charcoal pencils, a kneaded eraser and drafting erasers as well as a few other items. A fee of $40 if payable to the instructor at the first class to cover these supplies. If students wish to bring their own supplies, please contact us to make sure they are artist grade.

Chris Muzerall is a long time Mt. Washington Valley resident. The son of a prominent Jackson artist, Myke Morton he was immersed in art from an early age.  With much encouragement and some formal training from artists such as his mother and other MWV artists like David Baker and Ernie Brown, he went on to find his own technique

An avid outdoorsman, his work is strongly influenced by nature and it’s abstract patterns. He works in many diverse mediums as each has it’s own appeal, but believes the thought process to be the same. His work is strongly inspired by Sargent, Homer and countless others, in many styles, not just realism as he is looking to create art in a classic style with contemporary colors.
