Wearable Art: Silk Painting with Kristen Pobatschnig

In this comprehensive class, we will learn how to paint on silk using brilliant silk dyes. Students will learn how to achieve different textural effects using salt, resist, rubbing alcohol and more. Students will begin with small practice silks, and work their way to create their own hand painted silk scarf. These scarves make a perfect holiday gift and they can also be sewn into other garments. Materials are included in this fun and relaxing workshop. No experience needed. Material information will be given if students wish to continue this art at home. Please pack a lunch or one can be ordered out.

Cancellation Policy. We ask that you to give us one week notice if you need to cancel and we will refund you minus a $15 cancellation. Cancellations should be made by phone by calling (603) 387-3463. This provides us the opportunity to fill the space. We are sorry, but we cannot give refunds or issue credits for ‘no shows’.
