Experiment with color, technique, and develop a series....
In this class you will deepen your understanding of the acrylic medium as you learn innovative mark-making techniques and explore color theory to create a series of abstract works. The focus of this class will be on how to start a painting, choose interesting color combinations, and achieve desired overall effect. We will view work of other contemporary artists, discuss negative and positive space and experiment with collage. Relaxation techniques will help you with your experimentation and get to the next level.

SUPPLY LIST
-Acrylic Paints: white, cadmium red. cadmium orange,  yellow, ultramarine blue, sap green, burnt umbers and any other colors that you like to work with.

-five same sized canvases 10”x10” or close to this size (pre-painted orange color)

-Variety of brushes

-At least one medium  palette knife

-Tissue paper colored

-Rags or paper towels

-card board  gessoed 8x10 (3)

Cancellation Policy. We ask that you to give us one week notice if you need to cancel and we will refund you minus a $15 cancellation. Cancellations should be made by phone by calling (603) 387-3463. This provides us the opportunity to fill the space. We are sorry, but we cannot give refunds or issue credits for ‘no shows’.
